Feed a Baby Elephant
£28.00
In Botswana, the country with the largest elephant population, poaching, drought and other risks threat the already endangered African elephant with extinction. When adult mothers are killed, their babies face a challenging ordeal to survive alone in the wild.
Baby elephants need up to 20 litres of milk per day to survive during their first years of life. Every drop is packed with nutrients and antibodies they need to build strength, courage, and curiosity.
Together with a staple diet of mopane leaves, an orphaned baby can be nurtured by expert elephant handlers in the way they need.
